Piotr Płuska

Graduate of the vocal art class of Professor Włodzimierz Zalewski at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. Singer, actor, teacher, sound engineer and logopaedist.

He made his debut in 2007 with the role of the Count in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro. He has performed such roles as Frollo in Notre Dame de Paris by Riccardo Cocciante (Polish world première), Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Pangloss in Candide by Leonard Bernstein, The Padre in The Man of La Mancha by Mitch Leigh, Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss, Janusz in Halka by Stanisław Moniuszko, and Papageno in The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. He has been working with the Musical Theatre in Łódź on a day-to-day basis. He also works with the Musical Theatre in Gdynia.

Winner of the first prize at the 5th Iwona Borowicka National Operetta and Musical Performance Competition in Kraków (2012); received a distinction at the 3rd Adam Didur International Opera Vocal Art Competition in Bytom (2012). In 2012, he received the medal of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for “Merit to Polish Culture.”
