Lena Zuchniak

Graduate of the Music Education Department at the Fryderyk Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw (specialty: choir conducting). Graduate of the saxophone class at the Fryderyk Chopin Secondary School of Music, as well as the Song Department and the jazz vocal arts class at the Post-Secondary Jazz School. Graduate of the violin class at the Karol Kurpiński Primary Music School in Warsaw. Soloist of the children’s ensemble Tęcza [Rainbow] and vocalist of the vocal trio Tiramisu.

Grand Prix laureate of the International Children’s Song Festival in Portugal, and the Euro Eco Meeting Festival, and winner of the second place at the International Meeting of Jazz Vocalists in Zamość 2002. She has worked with many artists of the music industry as a session musician (vocals, saxophone). She has participated in the TV programmes Tęczowy Music Box [Rainbow Music Box], Co jest grane? [What’s Playing On?] and The Dating Game. For many years, she has been performing on the popular TVP1 programme Jaka to melodia [What Melody Is This?], where she sings and plays the saxophone and other instruments.

She has worked with the Studio Buffo theatre in Warsaw (the musical Metro – vocalist) She conducted voice projection classes at the Maciej Pawłowski’s Authorial Musical School, at the ARTE Music School, and at the “Dance4All” musical school. In 2014, she established the authorial musical school “FAME Akademia Estradowa.” She teaches vocal ensembles at the Department of Vocal and Acting Studies of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (specialty: Musical).
