Kaja Mianowana

WAAF girl

Graduate of the Department of Vocal and Acting Studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Her speciality is Early music. She also studied at Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Graz. She graduated from the Tadeusz Szeligowski Primary and Secondary Music School in Lublin.

She made her theatrical debut with the role of Jemima in the musical Cats at ROMA MT. She has played leading roles in The Phantom of the Opera (ROMA MT and the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic), Les Misérables (ROMA MT), Notre Dame de Paris (Musical Theatre in Gdynia), Lamaila (Grand Theatre in Łódź), Love Story (Witkacy New Theatre in Słupsk), Phantom and Machiavelli (Musical Theatre in Lublin). In 2015, she won the International Anna German Song Festival in Moscow. She collaborates with numerous cultural institutions in Poland, singing stage musical theatre songs, jazz, early music, Sephardic songs, and film music. She is the holder of the President of Lublin’s scholarship in the field of artistic achievements. Since 2014, she has been singing in the band MelluSya, performing an original repertoire.
