Janusz Kruciński

impresario, actor, restaurant/cabaret owner

Graduate of the Post-Secondary Actors’ Studio “Lart studiO” in Kraków. From 1994-95, he had been gaining professional experience by performing with Kabaret Artura I in Kraków. In 1995, he began to study at the Danuta Baduszkowa State Vocal and Acting School at the Musical Theatre in Gdynia. From 1996-2001, he was an actor at the Rozrywka Theatre in Chorzów, perfecting his vocal skills under the guidance of Danuta Bogus. Since 2001, he has been performing on stages of musical theatres throughout Poland as a freelancer. In 2004, he obtained a drama actor diploma (external examination of ZASP—the Union of Artists of Polish Stages). A year later, he participated in the Anna German Festival in Zielona Góra, receiving the ZASP Award for stage personality, the Audience Award, and the festival’s Grand Prix.

He has been working with many top Polish composers and musicians. He is an author of lyrics and translations. Since January 2012, he has been the vocalist of the band Ordalia. He co-authored the book Les Misérables – narodziny sztuki [The Birth of Art], published by ROMA MT.
